Lovely Senior Girl {Senior Photography | Minneapolis St. Paul, Twin Cities, MN}

They say that good things come to those who wait.  Well, since it was pouring rain off and on most of the day, we had some waiting to do before we could start taking pictures outdoors for this lovely senior girl.  And we were rewarded with some beautiful soft sunlight!

In spite of the weather drama, we had a really relaxed, fun time together, taking pictures and chatting.  This adorable gal is an avid outdoorswoman (she doesn't just get photographed in the rain... she camps in it!) and spends a lot of time hard at work on the family farm.  I loved hanging out with her and her mom.

A Barrel of Monkeys {Child and Family Photography | Minneapolis St. Paul, Twin Cities, MN}

I've never actually been in a barrel of monkeys, but if it's as fun as they say it is, then it probably would be a whole lot like this night was.

This was a super-sweet session for three adorable little boys and their lovely, wonderfully fun grandmother.    We had a lot of giggles.  And some stick and rock collecting.  And some tree climbing.  479 mosquito bites.  And only one bloody nose.  I call that... pretty much normal (I have boys of my own, remember).

Family Love {Family Photography | Minneapolis St. Paul, MN}

I love working with this sweet, beautiful family and their sweet, beautiful pups.  We did the older daughter's senior pictures a few years ago, and this year it was time for some updated family pictures.  (Stay tuned for the younger daughter's senior pictures coming up this fall.)

The doggies were so good!  (The humans were, too!)  We had a beautiful evening and a relaxed, wonderful time.

Have I mentioned lately how much I love my high school seniors?  OK, I probably have.  Well, I'm mentioning it again!

This is Laura.  I love how she wanted her senior pictures to be totally her.  Naturally beautiful, a little bit casual, a whole lot sweet...  We had the BEST time together.  Completely relaxed, easy, and fun.  And I know it's not about the clothes, but... man, am I excited that overalls are back in style.  And I adore that vintage-y cream dress she wore.
